The Mute Swan, one of the most powerful of the aquatic birds, creates a ripple as it gracefully glides through the muddy waters of the Fraser River outside my studio at Ladner Reach. It reminds me of the movement of thought across a still mind. The ripple causes the reflections of the float homes to form beautiful abstract patterns in the water.
